Anthologee! Book Box was dreamed up in 2020, when I was home with a new baby and frankly dismayed at the lack of diversity I was seeing in her books. There were more books that featured inanimate objects than people of color or LGBTQ families!
Researching and reading reviews to find inclusive literature takes precious time. Finding quality children’s books shouldn’t be so difficult, and I know I’m not the only one struggling with it. I want to do something to help well-intentioned parents and caregivers provide quality, inclusive literature to children. Most importantly, I want the kids to find positive representation on the pages of their books!
This subscription box is my way of sharing this effort with you.
