Wheelchairs make it possible to enjoy school, visit parks, spend time with friends, and participate in favorite hobbies and sports. During Disability Pride Month each July, we celebrate the achievements, talents, and experiences of people with disabilities. It's also a time to remember that disabilities are a natural part of our diverse world and not something that needs to be fixed, and that everyone deserves to feel welcome, included, and respected. When we create accessible spaces and show kindness to one another, we help build communities where every child and family can learn, play, and grow together.
